Flat Hunting Woes written 6 years ago

The very lesser spotted perfect house, so damn rare, it`s proving near impossible to find

Finding somewhere to live next year is proving a somewhat difficult task. It might just be that we both can’t be arsed looking any more.

We’ve visited lots of Lettings Agents and they all seem to fit into one of two categories:

  1. 1 maybe 2 houses left, all of which are grotty and not suitable for a pet gerbil to live in.

  2. Nice looking flats, but in the most god-awful locations!

Currently we have one viewing on Monday, for a place in Withington that looked ok. We’ll have to see what the state of the newspaper on the floor is like before committing ourselves however.

Wish us luck!

Update:

The flat we went to see today satisfied all of our criterium for being a place to habit, so come July we’ll have a place to live!

I’ll pester Paul later for some pictures of the outside, because i know you’re just dying to see!

I concur

I had Paul send me a piccy of the place, it doesn’t give much away about where we’re living, but I’m sure I’ll put up some pics when we’re moved in :)

My new place of living

Isn’t it pretty(ish)?
