Random Snapshots written 6 years ago

A porthole into the world of rob!

As some of you might know, I recently adorned myself with a new phobile mone.

I got me a shiny Rotormola V500, which besides being shiny has a terrible battery life, and has already managed to obtain many scratches. Oh how I hate buying things. But it’s one last saving grace is that it takes (horribly poor) pictures!

Now seeing as the phone goes everywhere with me, and having a lump of gadgetry that I just have to use, I foresee me taking many random pictures. Hence, I worked my voodoo magic, and made it so that all of the pictures taken with the phone shall appear here on this website, in a small box on the front page. If you would like to see said voodoo magic, please visit here. See the slider on the front page to see the effect :)

I added a bit of javascript magic, and now the pictures slide by like a veritable slideshow*.

Go on.. mouseover, you know you want to.

Exciting pictures to look out for are the new door handles (with handles!) at my flat, and the out of date cheese, which had been in my parents fridge for about 3 months.

*It all looks pretty, unless you’re viewing in IE-Mac, in which case you should know better. And if you do know better, and have any bugs to report, please leave a comment :)

There, I tweaked it a bit. Happier?

You’re still gonna have to wait for 3 seconds before the next picture to show, millions of tiny pictures add up to quite a sum of bandwidth!
