Bluetooth Photo Printing written 4 years ago
Whilst out and about on my way to the National Motorcycle Show down at the NEC, we stopped off at a couple of Service stations on the way, and whilst my dad was off buying a paper, I had the chance to play with one of those print-photos-from-phone machines.
I’ve got to say I’m pretty impressed with the service. For 40p I got a semi-high quality print from my crappy phone, all in about 5 minutes. Most of the time I spent trying to trick my phone into sending the image to the machine via bluetooth. But once you’ve scanned the local area, and ciphened off the phones of the people stood near you, it’s pretty quick to upload the image. Another 30 seconds to print and you’ve got instant gratification of your masterpieces.
With a semi decent phone, you can produce half decent results, meaning that your piccies aren’t trapped on a tiny screen, but can be subjected to greasy fingerprints just like traditional photos!
Be aware though, that since the photos come with postcard-style markings on the back, you will recieve postcards with my ugly mug upon them. Don’t be too scared to see my face on your doormat.
