I think Eastenders are relying on attractive actors now to bring in searches, I can’t think why anyone would search Eastenders unless to oggle at the men (seeing as more women watch soaps than men). I hate Eastenders anyway!

Since when were there any attractive actors in Eastenders, or indeed any of the other popular soaps? Women watch these things purely because they have little else to do with themselves at 8pm most nights… However, this still doesn’t explain why Eastenders was well up there on the list. Are neurotic women really internet savvy?

I would do away with Eastenders completely. Would replace it with docu of snails mating or bicycle building or the Innes boar charging over the Farquarsons!

Eastenders is a pile of crap, desperate, low grade TV that expired the day after it first aired. My wife watches it, which means i have to sit through it too, so my opinion is valid and from experience. Ian Beale is the worst actor from all the penis heads on the cast.

The BBC should be ashamed to spend our tv tax on such drivel. Lets have more Docs!

EastEnders is watched by over 11 Million people in Britain, and Hundreds of Thousands in America. Both with very strong fan bases. Both figures are also currently rising, according to BARB.

EastEnders is the most watched soap, if not TV programme in Britain…So how can you say the BBC is wasting License fee payers money?

The Sun has the biggest daily sale figures, but it is nothing better than a comic, figures mean nothing where quality is concerned, Eastenders is truly abysmal
