We spent a glorious weekend in Skipton, North Yorkshire a few weekends ago - we were worried about the snow meaning that it would be three days of watching movies in a hotel room (not entirely the worst thing..), but in the end the snow just made a beautiful environment even more picturesque.

Bolton Abbey

Whilst at the Abbey we went for a walk around Strid wood.

A wander through skipton woods that ended up taking an hour longer than planned rewarded us with a stunning sunset.
